U13A Chiefs Crowned Provincial Champions

The Red Deer Lacrosse Association is proud to celebrate the U13A team on an incredible achievement capturing the provincial championship at the 2026 Minor Box Lacrosse Provincials in Medicine Hat, Alta., held July 10 to 12.

After earning their place at provincials with a league championship win, the team rose to the challenge against Alberta’s top competition. In the final, RDLA faced the Calgary Sabrecats in a hard-fought best-of-three series that showcased the heart, resilience and talent of this group.

With determination and teamwork on full display, the U13A team battled through three intense games and emerged as provincial champions.

This championship is a reflection of not only the skill of these athletes, but the way they supported one another, grew together and represented RDLA with pride throughout the season.
