Stephen Hicks - U13A Head Coach
Stephen Hicks has been named the U13A Head Coach for the 2025 season. With many years of coaching experience in both lacrosse and hockey, Stephen brings a strong passion for athlete development and teamwork. His leadership will be key in shaping the future of our young players.
Collin Lampard - U15A Head Coach
Collin Lampard will take the reins as the U15A Head Coach. With 12 years of coaching experience and over 20 years of playing experience, Collin has seen the game from every angle. A multiple-time provincial champion, Collin continues to play lacrosse and also coaches football. His knowledge and dedication will be invaluable to the team.
Darren Kinnear - U17A Head Coach
Darren Kinnear has been named the U17A Head Coach. With a passion for coaching, Darren was the Assistant Coach for the U15A team in 2023 and Head Coach in 2024, leading the team to a provincial championship. With over 30 years of lacrosse experience, including playing in the NLL and Senior A, Darren is currently playing Senior B with the Edmonton Miners. His deep understanding of the game and commitment to player development will help drive success for the U17A team.
The Red Deer Chiefs are excited for the upcoming season and the opportunity to develop young talent under the guidance of these experienced and dedicated coaches. Head Coach positions will be pending until after evaluations for children trying out.
