Field Lacrosse

RDLA and the Orangemen Field program are excited to provide a new season of Field Lacrosse.  Programming available for Girls, Boys or Co-ed from U6 through to U19. For more information on fees please visit our registration page.

  • Any player regardless of playing experience is welcome to register.  We offer ages 6U to 19U Boys, Girls & Coed, as well as Senior Men’s programming.
  • Field lacrosse for boys requires full equipment the same as box lacrosse, with the exception of cleats instead of running shoes.
  • Field lacrosse for girls is No-Hit throughout all divisions and requires only eye goggles as recommended, cleats instead of running shoes, and a lady’s field lacrosse stick, which does differ substantially from box lacrosse sticks.
  • Over the course of the season in July and August, you will practice once per week to develop and prepare to compete in 3 to 5 competitive events consisting of Scheduled Game Play on a dedicated day on select weekends.  A Provincial event is typically scheduled in early September, but is yet to be determined for 2022.

Orangemen Summer Field Lacrosse programs offered for boys and girls are designed to introduce new field lacrosse players to the game as well as assist more advanced players in refining their skills in a positive, energetic and fun environment.

We look to allow lacrosse players to experience the full benefit of a season of practices while having the flexibility of attending games that work with their summer schedule.  The season takes place during July and ending in early September.

  • Practice sessions focusing on individual & small group situations
  • Fitness Training - U10 and up
  • Scrimmages focusing on game situations
  • Times by age division will be sent to all registrants in late June via the RAMP system
